Culture workers announce funding campaign and Riga concert action
LSM reports that cultural organisations are preparing the campaign “Kultūra (iz)dzīvo” over low pay and inadequate funding. A concert action is planned at Riga Congress House on 10 November, with the campaign continuing until 23 November. Sector representatives seek a long-term funding plan; the minister expressed willingness to work on one without promising additional money. The announced events have not yet occurred.
